Whether you’re handling multinational labels or regional vendors, grouping products by brand helps streamline operations, enhances inventory clarity, and empowers smarter decision-making across purchases, sales, and audits.

Creating a New Brand

Adding brands to your inventory system is simple and helps categorize your products effectively.

Step 1: Access the Brands Section

  1. Navigate to Inventory in the main menu
  2. Click on Brands from the submenu
  3. You’ll see the brands list page

Step 2: Add New Brand

  1. Click the "+ New" button
  2. A brand creation form will appear with the following fields:

Step 3: Fill in Brand Details

Brand Name (Required)

  • Enter the complete brand name
  • Use the official brand name for consistency
  • Examples: “Samsung”, “Nike”, “Apple”

Description (Optional)

  • Provide additional details about the brand
  • Include information like brand category, origin, or special notes
  • Examples: “Electronics manufacturer from South Korea”, “Premium sportswear brand”

Step 4: Save the Brand

  1. Review the entered information
  2. Click “Save” to add the brand
  3. The new brand will appear in your brands list

Editing an Existing Brand

You can modify brand information whenever needed to keep your records accurate and up-to-date.

Step 1: Find the Brand

  1. Go to the Brands section
  2. Use the search function to quickly find the brand you want to edit
  3. Or scroll through the brands list

Step 2: Access Edit Mode

  1. Click on the brand name or select the brand row
  2. Click the “Edit” button
  3. The brand editing form will open

Step 3: Modify Brand Information

Update Brand Name

  • Correct any spelling errors
  • Update if the brand has been rebranded
  • Ensure consistency across your inventory

Update Description

  • Add more detailed information
  • Modify existing description for clarity
  • Include any new relevant details

Step 4: Save Changes

  1. Review your modifications
  2. Click “Save” button
  3. The updated information will be reflected across all associated items

Deleting a Brand

You can delete a brand as long as it is not used to create any items.

Step 1: Find the Brand

  1. Go to the Brands section
  2. Use the search function to quickly find the brand you want to delete
  3. Or scroll through the brands list

Step 2: Access Edit Mode

  1. Click on the brand name or select the brand row
  2. Click the “Edit” button
  3. The brand editing form will open

Step 3: Delete Brand

  1. Review the brand details to make sure you are deleting the correct brand
  2. Click “Delete” button
  3. The brand will be deleted from the system
