User Profile
The User Profile settings allow you to manage your personal information within Lekha. You can update your name details while viewing your account information such as email, role, and organization.
Accessing User Profile Settings
- Navigate to Settings from the main menu
- Click on General from the settings categories
- Select User Profile from the general settings options
User Profile Fields
Personal Information
First Name (Required)
- Enter your first name
- Maximum 255 characters allowed
- This field is required and must be filled
Last Name (Optional)
- Enter your last name or family name
- Maximum 255 characters allowed
- This field is optional
Account Information (View Only)
The following fields display your account information but cannot be changed:
- Shows your registered email address
- Used for login and system notifications
- Cannot be modified from this screen
Role
- Displays your assigned role in the system
- Determines your access permissions
- Set by system administrators
Organization
- Shows the organization you belong to
- Indicates your company or business entity
- Managed by organization administrators
Updating Your Profile
Step 1: Access Profile Settings
- Go to User Profile settings as described above
- Review your current information
Step 2: Make Changes
- Update your First Name if needed
- Add or modify your Last Name if desired
- Review the read-only fields for accuracy
Step 3: Save Changes
- Click Save to update your profile
- Confirm your changes have been applied
- You’ll see a confirmation message when successful

Editable Fields
- First Name: Required, up to 255 characters
- Last Name: Optional, up to 255 characters
Read-Only Fields
- Email: Cannot be changed
- Role: Set by administrators
- Organization: Managed by organization settings

- Ensure spelling is correct for official documents

Troubleshooting
Common Issues
Cannot Save Changes
- Ensure First Name is not empty (required field)
- Check that names don’t exceed 255 characters
- Verify you have permission to update your profile
Missing Information
- Contact your system administrator if email or role information is incorrect
- Organization details are managed separately in Organization settings
Access Issues
- Ensure you’re logged in with proper credentials
- Check that you have access to settings sections
- Contact support if you cannot access profile settings
