Organization

Organization Profile settings allow you to configure your company’s information, branding, and contact details that appear throughout Lekha. This information is used on invoices, reports, and other business documents.

Accessing Organization Profile Settings

Navigate to Settings from the main menu
Click on Organization from the settings categories
Select Organization Profile from the organization settings options

Organization Profile Overview

The Organization Profile contains all essential business information including company branding, contact details, tax information, and administrative controls.

Organization Information Fields

Company Branding

Logo (Optional)

Upload your company logo image
Displayed at 128x128 pixels in the system
Appears on invoices and business documents
If no logo is uploaded, a placeholder will be shown
Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF

Basic Company Information

Name (Required)

Enter your complete organization name
Maximum 255 characters allowed
Appears on all business documents and communications
Use your official registered business name

Email (Required)

Enter your primary business email address
Maximum 255 characters allowed
Used for system communications and document sending
Must be a valid email format

GST Number (Optional)

Enter your Goods and Services Tax registration number
Maximum 25 characters allowed
Required for GST compliance in applicable regions
Appears on tax invoices and reports

MSME Number (Optional)

Enter your Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises registration number
Maximum 20 characters allowed
Used for MSME benefits and compliance
Include if your business is MSME registered

TAN (Optional)

Enter your Tax Deduction and Collection Account Number
Maximum 25 characters allowed
Required for businesses handling tax deductions
Used for TDS compliance

Website (Optional)

Enter your company website URL
Maximum 255 characters allowed
Appears on business documents for customer reference
Include full URL (e.g., https://www.yourcompany.com)

Address Information

Country (Required)

Shows your organization’s country
Pre-populated based on your account setup
Cannot be changed from this screen

Address Line 1 (Required)

Enter your primary business address
Maximum 100 characters allowed
Include street number and street name
This is your main business location

Address Line 2 (Optional)

Enter additional address information
Maximum 50 characters allowed
Use for apartment, suite, or building details

Address Line 3 (Optional)

Enter third line of address if needed
Maximum 50 characters allowed
Use for additional location details

City (Optional)

Enter your business city
Maximum 50 characters allowed
Include the city where your business is located

State (Required)

Select your business state or province
Choose from available options in the dropdown
Required for tax calculations and compliance

Zip Code (Optional)

Enter your postal or ZIP code
Maximum 15 characters allowed
Include for complete address information

Contact Information

Calling Country Code (Optional)

Enter the country code for your phone number
Maximum 5 characters allowed
Examples: +1, +91, +44
Include the + symbol

Phone Number (Optional)

Enter your primary business phone number
Maximum 15 characters allowed
Use your main customer service or business line
Do not include country code (enter separately above)

Updating Organization Profile

Step 1: Access Organization Settings

Navigate to Organization Profile as described above
Review your current information

Step 2: Update Information

Modify any fields that need updating
Upload a new logo if needed
Ensure required fields are completed

Step 3: Save Changes

Click Save to update your organization profile
Confirm changes have been applied
Check that information appears correctly on documents

Administrative Actions (Danger Zone)

For Administrators Only

The Danger Zone section contains administrative actions that permanently affect your organization data:

Delete Organization

Available only to users with administrator privileges
Permanently deletes your organization and all associated data
Only available when organization is in active status
Requires confirmation before proceeding
Warning: This action cannot be undone

Cancel Delete Organization

Available only to administrator users
Cancels a pending organization deletion
Only appears when organization is marked for deletion
Restores organization to active status

Important: These actions should only be used in exceptional circumstances and with full understanding of the consequences.

Field Requirements and Validation

Required Fields

Name: Must be completed, up to 255 characters
Email: Must be valid email format, up to 255 characters
Country: Must be selected (usually pre-populated)
Address Line 1: Must be completed, up to 100 characters
State: Must be selected from available options

Optional Fields

All other fields can be left blank if not applicable
Character limits as specified for each field
Valid formats required (email, phone numbers)

Information Accuracy

Use complete, official business information
Keep contact details current and accessible
Ensure address matches your legal business location
Update information when business details change

Branding Consistency

Use high-quality logo images
Ensure logo is clear at small sizes
Keep branding consistent with other business materials
Update logo when rebranding occurs

Tax Compliance

Include all relevant tax registration numbers
Ensure GST number is accurate for tax compliance
Keep MSME and TAN numbers current

Document Appearance

Review how information appears on invoices

Ensure all customer-facing information is professional
Verify contact information is easily accessible

Cannot Save Changes

Ensure all required fields are completed
Check that email format is valid
Verify character limits are not exceeded
Confirm you have permission to update organization settings

Logo Not Displaying

Check image file format (JPG, PNG, GIF supported)
Ensure image file size is reasonable
Try uploading a different image
Clear browser cache and refresh

Ensure state is selected from dropdown

Organization Users
